<p><strong>Senior Python Full Stack Developer </strong><br /><strong>Location:</strong> Remote<br /><strong>English: </strong>Upper-Intermediate+ (critical)<br /><strong>Tech stack:</strong><br />Frontend: Vue / React (strong level — this is a key factor)<br />Backend: Python<br />Database: PostgreSQL<br />Infrastructure: AWS, Docker<br /><strong>Key requirements:</strong><br />Strong frontend skills (critical) — pixel-perfect implementation from Figma<br />End-to-end development experience (full-stack, not a narrow profile)<br />API integrations (email, search, etc.)<br />Working with business logic<br />Database design and optimization (Postgres)<br />Ability to collaborate with a designer and PM<br />Attention to detail (UX, components, performance)<br />Experience with production projects (real users)<br /><strong>Nice to have:</strong><br />OpenSearch / TypeSense<br />Experience with AI (not a priority)<br />Globally, the project is a news aggregator focused on AI/Technology.<br /><strong>What needs to be done:</strong><br />Current priority tasks:<br />Unifying the authorization flow<br />Hybrid search — keyword + semantic. Lots of pitfalls here: performance, result validity (there may be gaps in the data that another person is responsible for), and formulas for merging results between keyword and semantic search<br />Graph visualization<br /><strong>Reporting</strong><br />Google Docs — every step must be validated with metrics on "result relevance" and performance<br />Google Sheets — same as above<br />Always show up for daily standups<br />Always be available during working hours</p>
